Kibo Group's Water Source program recently dug a deep water well in Butaaswa village. The community group decided that with the promotion of health through clean water, they wanted to also provide treatment possibilities. The Butaaswa community decided to raise goats as a proactive step toward infrastructure improvement. Each year they will sell the offspring to provide additional resources for community projects. The caretakers of the goats will receive the offspring of the goats every other year. This will provide those individual families with finances to treat common-yet dangerous-problems like malaria, dehydration, and typhoid.
