Jinja town was originally designed by the British in the early part of the 20th century. The town has maintained much of that early structure, including a bypass for the international highway. The two-and-a-half mile bypass is named for the Busoga king: Kyabazinga Way. p. p. The Mvule Project has received permission and proper documentation to plant trees on either side of this recently resurfaced road. Today project coordinators will check on trees that have been planted, as well as fill in spaces left by animals and drought.
